Lifan is pursuing his Master degree in Computer and Information Sciences at University of Delaware. He received his B.S. degree in Computer science at National University of Defense Technology (China). Lifan is member of the GCLab since Spring 2009. In the group, Lifan is working on efficient Monte Carlo simulations on GPUs. Currently he is trying to parallelize the Corse-Grained Kinetic Monte Carlo Model, moving it from CPU to GPU.

Lifan loves sports include soccer, basketball, Ping‐Pong, badminton, swimming. He also loves music and plays bass guitar with friends in a band.
