Course Description
This course is intended to provide students with an understanding of parallelization with MPI and OpenMP. Case studies for parallelization include Molecular Dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations, their principals, and their sequential and parallel algorithms. Emphasis is placed on the algorithmic and code components of these simulations, their performance analysis, and their scalability.Course Information
